Bodegas Sobreño receives a new international award at the Concours Vinalies Internationales
Finca Sobreño Reserva has been awarded a Gold medal at the prestigious competition held in the French city of Reims between 8 and 13 June.
In the 27th edition of the competition founded by French oenologists, 145 international tasters have tasted wines from 39 countries.

International critics have once again awarded Bodegas Sobreño. On this occasion, the prestigious Concours Vinalies Internationales awarded a Gold medal and 86 points out of 100 to Finca Sobreño Reserva 2016 in its latest edition held from 8 to 13 June in the French city of Reims.
The competition, organised by the Union des Oenologues de France, is among the great international competitions, both for the number of samples and for its longevity, it was founded in 1994. In the 27th edition, a jury of 145 international experts tasted wines from 39 countries.
This recognition is a new boost for Bodegas Sobreño in the international market, which is positioned in the large-scale distribution circuits of restaurateurs around the world.
Finca Sobreño Reserva, a powerful, meaty and velvety wine
Finca Sobreño Reserva is a powerful, meaty and velvety wine that ages for 14 months in American oak barrels and rests for 12 months in the bottle before being released on the market. Among other awards, it has received excellent scores in different publications, such as the 93 points awarded in the Gourmets Guide 2021, the same points it received from the prestigious expert Robert Parker in 'The Wine Advocate', or the 92 points with which Stephen Tanzer rated it in 'The International Wine Cellar'.
Bodegas Sobreño is a family winery in the Toro D.O. that has been making great wines since 1999 from the Tinta de Toro grape variety for demanding, high quality markets.
